AHA, Inc. is an organization which focuses on education and excellence, related to the therapy tool of hippotherapy. We are known for our two foundation courses: Hippotherapy Treatment Principles – Part 1 and Hippotherapy Treatment Principles – Part 2, which offer therapists a start in utilizing equine movement and the equine environment as a treatment strategy during a therapy session. We also offer a number of advanced, more focused courses that spotlight specific aspects of the use of hippotherapy as a tool in treatment. These are coined The Connection Courses, as they provide a link between a specific topic area and hippotherapy.
Under the Education tab on our web site, you will find the AHA, Inc. Curriculum Overview button. This includes an overview of each AHA, Inc. course, it’s intended audience, any pre-requisites (if there are any) and detailed course objectives.
